Electrical and Electronic Engineering is an exciting and dynamic field. The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering presently offers Undergraduate programmes. The present intake is 60 students. The Department has qualified and experienced faculty in all the related fields of Electrical & Electronics Engineering viz. Electrical Power System, Electrical Machines, Control, Instrumentation, Microprocessors, Power Electronics and Digital Signal Processing. The theoretical knowledge is further supplemented by well equipped laboratories. There is widespread interaction between the Electrical & Electronic Engineering Department and various other departments like Electronics Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering in the field of teaching and research The Department has all the latest Laboratories for Electrical Machines, Advanced Power Electronics, Power Systems with software tools for Circuits, Control Systems, Power systems with excellent computing facilities. It also has the latest audio-visual teaching aids. Internet facility is available the students.
